Nanotrap 200

Oxford HighQ’s first nanoparticle analysis instrument will be available for purchase in January 2020.

It will measure the size and composition of individual nanoparticles with resolution of a few percent, unlocking new capabilities in particle characterisation:

  • Measure drug load of nanoparticles for drug delivery
  • Distinguish different nanoparticles of similar sizes
  • Resolve more structure in inhomogeneous samples

Demonstration instruments are currently available to perform proof-of-capability measurements on customer samples.

Micro optical components

Oxford HighQ’s precision micro-optical components provide a unique tool for research in areas including

  • Quantum optics with nanomaterials and semiconductors
  • Quantum computing with trapped ions and cold atoms
  • Novel light sources
  • Microbiology and nanobiology

Micromachined fused silica substrates are available to your designed specifications. Our substrates include an array of concave features with radius of curvature between 5 and 100 μm on a 300 μm diameter plinth. Substrates are sold in sets of six and we provide support for coatings.

The micromirror substrates are specified with surface roughness below 1 nm rms and shape deviation less than 5 nm.
